The uterus resides in the area of the body known as the Sacral Chakra–the center of emotions, passion, sexuality & creativity.  I have always been struck by the fact that all of us experience these even of only some of us use our uteri to birth daughters and sons.  As women, we birth many things-art, projects, meals, gardens, students, ideas.  This uterus symbolizes the inherent creativity all women possess, and honors what we birth.  The scrolls contain words representing what I have birthed in my life.  I’ve also tucked a few unborn dreams inside, waiting to be birthed when the time is right.
