My uterus is just that: mine. I went through various versions of this final piece…I decided nothing visual could communicate my feelings about my own personal uterus so well as the words of women like Clinton, Austen, French, Booth, Wollstoncraft, Greer, Politt. So my uterus becomes my canvas on which I write their words. It’s not beautiful or decorative or visually pleasing…but…it’s mine.
